Is it free?

Free to browse, free for healers to list their profiles, free for seekers to discover and connect. Browsing, searching and connecting are free. On a paid session, EaseHere adds a small platform fee on top of the healer's price — that fee is what keeps the site running. Healers receive the price they listed in full, seekers see the total before paying, and the fee is returned with the rest if a session is cancelled within the free window.

How are healers reviewed?

Every healer applies, and a real person reads their application before anything goes live. We review their bio, their modalities and how they describe their work, and each healer signs our code of conduct. Only then does their profile appear. Certifications are self-reported — we don't independently verify credentials, and we'll always tell you so.

Do I need to know which modality I need?

Not at all. You can browse by intention — such as stress relief, grief support, or spiritual growth — rather than by modality. Our guided matching will also help you describe what you are going through and suggest healers whose approach fits your needs.

Do I need to believe in energy healing?

Accepted Answer

No. You don't need any particular spiritual, religious or philosophical belief to have a session. Curiosity and a willingness to take some time for yourself are enough. You're always welcome to ask your healer questions, or simply treat the session as a chance to rest.

What happens in a first session?

Most sessions begin with a short check-in, where you can share what has brought you and anything that would help you feel comfortable. During the healing itself, there's nothing you need to do except rest and breathe normally, and most sessions close with a short check-in too. Every healer works a little differently, and their profile describes their approach. No experience with meditation or energy work is needed.

Will my healer touch me?

Only in an in-person session, and only if you say yes: our code of conduct requires healers to ask before any touch. Many healers work entirely hands-off (Pranic Healing, for example, is a no-touch practice), and online and distance sessions involve no touch at all. You stay fully clothed, and you can ask for a hands-off session or change your mind at any point, without explaining why. If anything ever feels wrong, you can end the session and report it through our Safety center.

What might I feel during and after a session?

People describe it differently: warmth, tingling, heaviness or lightness, deep calm, sleepiness, or emotion. Some notice very little, and that's fine too. There's no right way to experience a session. Afterwards, many people feel rested or reflective. It can help to drink some water, eat something nourishing and keep the rest of your day gentle.

What if I become emotional?

Emotions sometimes come up when you slow down, and that's okay. You don't need to explain them or hold them back. If something feels uncomfortable, tell your healer: you can pause, change something, or end the session at any time. Your wellbeing always comes first.

How should I prepare?

Accepted Answer

No special preparation is needed. It can help to drink some water, eat lightly beforehand and wear something comfortable. For an online session, find a quiet, private space, silence your notifications and check your connection. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or have recently had surgery, let your healer know, in their "Before we meet" questions if they have them, or at the start of your session. You don't need an intention; "I'd like to rest and reset" is more than enough.

How does booking a session work?

Pick an offering on the healer's profile and, for a live session, a time that suits you. If it has a price, you pay when you send your request, and you see the full total first. Some healers confirm straight away; others reply within 24 hours. If a healer declines, or doesn't reply in time, you're refunded in full automatically.

How do online sessions work?

Online sessions happen over video. Your healer shares a meeting link before the session, and you'll find it on your booking page. We'll email you a reminder a day before and again an hour before, and session times are always shown in your own timezone.

What is distance healing?

Accepted Answer

Some healers offer distance healing: there's no call and no time to pick. Once your healer accepts, they do the healing within a set number of hours, shown before you book, and then send you a report. If the report doesn't arrive, you're refunded in full automatically. If it has a problem, such as being empty or clearly not about you, you can raise a concern within 48 hours.

What if I need to cancel?

Each healer offers free cancellation up to a set time before the session, anywhere from 4 to 72 hours, and you'll see it before you book. Cancel before then and you're refunded in full, platform fee included. After that, the session isn't refunded, because your healer has set that time aside for you. For distance healing, you can cancel for free until your healer accepts. If a healer cancels, you're always refunded in full. You can also ask to move a session to another time instead.

How do refunds work?

You get a full refund, platform fee included, if you cancel with enough notice (each healer shows how much they need before you book), or if your healer declines your request, doesn't reply within 24 hours, cancels, or doesn't show up. For distance healing, you're also refunded in full if your report doesn't arrive. A late cancellation or a missed session isn't refunded. Refunds go back to the payment method you used and usually appear within 5–10 business days.

What if my healer doesn't show up?

You won't pay for a session that didn't happen. Report it from your booking page within 24 hours after the session was due to end. Most reports are refunded in full straight away; a few are checked by our team first. Repeated no-shows lead to a review of the healer's listing.

Is my information private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your contact details are never shown publicly, and the notes and messages you share with your healer are stored encrypted. You can download a copy of your data, or delete your account, at any time from your account page.

Is energy healing a substitute for medical treatment?

No. Energy healing is a complementary practice and should never be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns. EaseHere healers are expected to uphold this boundary clearly.

What if I'm going through a crisis?
